CCS platform
Element NL is launching a platform for CO2 storage, also known as carbon capture and storage (CCS), involving key actors in the chain, such as the chemicals sector. This platform will help further shape the CO2 storage market. We will seek out fields that are suitable for CCS and, when they become available, we will prepare a cost-reduction plan and develop guidelines and standards. The platform will also play a role in informing society about CCS. We will collect and share the knowledge we gain through the platform with our partners in the Netherlands and abroad.
